Spaetzle
Quick and easy pasta dish. Would also be great as dumplings in a chicken casserole
ingredients
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Cups Flour
- Milk as needed
- Salt to taste

Lightly beat eggs with about 1/2 Cup milk. Add flour and salt and mix. Continue to add milk until thick but still able to drip off of a spoon, (about the consistency of brownie batter).

Place a colander with large holes, or any heat safe utensil with holes over a pot of boiling water. (I use a grill bowl as the holes are a perfect size.) Spoon batter into the bowl and push it through the holes into the boiling water with a stiff spatula.

Turn the burner down to medium and watch that the water does not boil over. Boil for about 5 minutes and drain. Add butter or margarine to taste and serve.
