Holiday French Toast
Make this ahead of time, like the night before, and you’ll be ready for breakfast the next morning. Enjoy!
ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 tsp. cinnamon (divided)
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 3 Granny Smith apples (peeled and sliced)
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries or raisins
- 1 loaf french bread, cut into 1" slices
- 6 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 T. vanilla

Combine brown sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon in a 9x13 baking dish. Add butter, apples, and cranberries. Toss to coat everything well. Spread evenly over bottom of dish. Arrange slices of bread on top.

Mix eggs, milk, vanilla, and remaining cinnamon until blended. Pour over bread, soaking break completely. Cover with butter foil and refrigerate overnight.

Cook 40 minutes at 375°
