Egg and Sausage Casserole
Great for all occasions because it’s easy & you make it the night before… it is yummy and ALWAYS receives compliments! I don’t add onions & green peppers to half of the casserole when I make it for our family because the kids just like the eggs, bread, sausage and cheese! We traditionally have this on Christmas a.m.!
ingredients
- 6 + slices of white bread (cut off crusts)
- 1 pound of sausage-fried, drained, crumbled
- Grated Cheddar Cheese
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- Chopped green onion and green pepper
directions

Use Pam to coat bottom of 9x13 pan; Line bottom with bread slices; Sprinkle with Sausage; sprinkle with green onion and green pepper (to your liking); then cover with a layer of grated cheddar cheese

In Separate Bowl: Beat eggs, evaporated milk and milk

Pour Egg mixture over top of items in dish and let sit over night covered in foil in refrigerator.

Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
