- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1 small jar maraschino cherries, cut up finely
- 1 C. sugar
- 1/2 C. nuts
- 3 Tbsp. maraschino cherry juice
- 1 square melted baking chocolate
- 1 1/2 C. cake flour
- 1 C. buttermilk (with 1 tsp. baking soda added)
