Crab Cakes
Classic Maryland Crab Cake Recipe with Old Bay Seasoning.
Crumbs from 2 slices bread
2 sm. eggs
3-4 rounded tbsp. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. prepared yellow mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. parsley flakes
2 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 lb. Maryland lump crab meat, previously cooked and picked
Butter for frying
Lemon for taste or garnish
Blend all ingredients thoroughly, except crab. Add crab meat and gently toss to retain lumps. Mold into cakes and fry in butter until lightly browned. Or, bake at 400° for 20 minutes. Yield: 8 to 10 cakes.
