Chicken Dressing
Dressing Favorite
ingredients
- 1 pan of cooked corn bread (cook day before you make dressing)
- 1 pan of cooked can biscuits (cook day before you make dressing)
- 5 saltine crackers
- 1 can of cream of celery soup
- 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can of cream of chicken soup
- 1 whole chicken
- 1 chopped onion
- salt and pepper to taste

Boil whole chicken and chopped onions together. Cook until tender.

Remove chicken from boiling water. Keep chicken broth. De-bone chicken and set aside.

Crumble the pan of corn bread, the pan of biscuits and the crackers in large mixing bowl.

In pan with chicken broth, add each can of soup and mix well.

In large mix bowl pour broth mixture over corn bread and biscuits mixture a little at a time until moist.

Mixture should be thick. Almost the consistency of cornbread mixture. Add chicken and cook in a 13 x 9 dish at 350 until it sets and is golden brown. 30-45 minutes.
