1 scant cup Miracle Whip
1 C cold water
2 C flour
1 C white sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
4 tbsp cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
1 pinch salt

I think this recipe was popular during the war because it doesn't need oil. Miracle Whip makes it very moist.
