Egg Casserole
ingredients
- 12 slices bread – donuts and holes (keep crumbs)
- 3/4 pound grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 cups diced, cooked bacon or ham
- 6 eggs slightly beaten
- 3 1/2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons minced onion
- 1/4 tsp. salt, dry mustard
directions
Line 9x13 pan with crumbs. Add cheddar cheese and bacon or ham. Put donuts and holes over the top of the bread crumbs, cheddar, and meat. Whisk together eggs, milk, minced onion, salt, and dry mustard and pour the liquid mixture over the other ingredients. Stand for 5 hours or overnight. Bake for 50 minutes at 325°.
