COCKTAIL MEATBALLS

Real easy to make and taste good too! Looking for a Snazzy Alternative: Instead of Chili Sauce and Grape Jelly, you can use Barbecue Sauce and apricot preserves.

ingredients

  • 1 lb. Lean Ground Beef
  • 1/2 c. Dry Bread Crumbs
  • 1/3 c. White Onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 c. Whole Milk
  • 1 T. Parsley
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. Black Pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (12-oz.) bottle Chili Sauce
  • 1 (10-oz.) jar

    Preheat oven to 350°

    Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, milk, parsley, salt, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, and egg.

    Shape into balls.

    Place in shallow baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, or untill done.

    In the meantime, heat chili sauce and grape jelly in saucepan, on medium heat, stirring constantly, until jelly has melted.

    When meatballs are done, add to saucepan and stir until all meatballs are coated.

  • 7

    Simmer uncovered on lowest heat for 20 minutes.
