Tomato/Basil Bread
ingredients
- 1 10 oz tube refrigerated pizza crust
- 1 8 oz brick of cream cheese
- 1 C fresh basil -- Full cup may not be
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 6 plumb tomatoes -- (diced)
directions
Soften cream cheese for 45 minutes-1 hour
Bake pizza crust according to the directions on the tube
Let pizza crust cool
Mix cream cheese, basil, garlic and thyme together
Spread cream cheese mixture over pizza crust
Cut into 24 individual squares
Dice tomatoes
Distribute tomatoes onto individual pieces of bread
Garnish with left over basil
