Puffy Cheese Bake
ingredients
- 8 slices Bread -- Buttered
- 4 each Eggs
- 2 C Light Cream
- 4 tbsp butter -- melted
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 1 dash cayenne pepper -- (more if necessary)
- 3 C Shredded Cheddar cheese -- (About 12 oz)
directions
Heat oven to 350
Grease the bottom of an 9 x 13 baking dish
Cut each slice of bread diagonally into 4 triangles
Line bottom and sides of baking dish with bread triangles
Beat eggs slightly
Add remaining ingredients and mix well
Pour mixture over bread
Bake for 30-40 minutes or until lightly browned
