The aroma is divine, the taste is heaven, easy to make in your crockpot.

ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb pork cubed, browned and tossed in a crockpot with-
  • 2 stalks celery chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup each: dried cranberries and dried apricots
  • 1 tbl minced garlic
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon each: Tumeric and Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp blk pepper
  • 1/3 cup red wine
  • 2/3 cup lowered sodium chicken broth

directions

  • 1

    Cook on high 2 hours and then low for 4-5 hours. Serve over rice, this will melt in your mouth! I wish I could post the aroma it creates !

    When I only have cranberries I use 1 cup and skip the apricots with only minor changes in the flavor.

To die for, honestly. It never lasts long when I make it. Could be served over noodles too.
