Cranberry Grape Compote
A wonderful homemade cranberry sauce perfect for the holidays.
ingredients
- 1 (12 oz) pkg. cranberries, fresh or frozen
- 3 cups seedless red grapes
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/8 tsp. salt

Combine cranberries, grapes, sugar, and water in a large saucepan over med-high heat, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer until most of the cranberries have popped and grapes are falling apart, about 10-15 minutes.

Remove from heat; add salt and stir to combine. Let cool to room temperature. Compote will thicken as it cools. Refrigerate in an airtight container up to 2 weeks.
