- 2 T BUTTER
- 2 1/4 C WATER
- 1 1/2 C CUBED HAM
- 1/2 t SALT
- 1/2 t WHITE PEPPER
- 1 BAY LEAF
- 1 T BOUQUET GARNI

MASH BEANS AND SET ASIDE.

SAUTE ONIONS AND CARROTS IN BUTTER TIL SOFT. STIR IN WATER , HAM, SEASONINGS AND ALL BEANS.

COOK OVER MEDIUM HEAT TIL HEATED THROUGH. DISCARD BAY LEAF PRIOR TO SERVING. LONGER SETTING DEEPENS FLAVOR.
