Aunt Les' Potato Casserole
ingredients
- 2 lbs frozen hashbrowns-thawed
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup melted butter (and enough to moisten crushed corn flakes for the topping
- 1 can cream of chicken or potato soup
- garlic salt and pepper to taste
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 2 cups of cheddar cheese

Heat oven to 350°.

Mix all ingredients together and then toss with the hashbrowns to evenly coat.

Crush about 2 cups corn flakes and mix with melted butter. Sprinkle over potatoes in a 13X9 inch pan. Bake for 45 minutes.
notes
If taking this somewhere, bake it for about 30 minutes and then finish when you arrive at your destination.
