Blueberry Streusel Tart

ingredients

Crust
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup powder sugar
  • 5 tbs butter
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
Almond Cream
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups almond
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup butter room temp
  • 2 tsp vanilla
Topping
  • 3 cups Blueberries
  • 3 tbs flour
  • 3 tbs dark brown sugar
  • 3 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter

For Crust

  • 1

    In a food processor, combine flour cinnamon. Then combine in sugar and add butter and mix.

    Add egg, mix in until clumps form. Turn out onto slightly floured surface. Shape into a round… wrap and refrigerate for 20 minutes. Then roll out and place in fluted 10 inch tart pan.

For Almond Cream

Set oven to 400 degrees. In processor work the sugar and almonds together until almonds are ground. Add butter, egg and vanilla and work until smooth. Transfer to chilled crust.

For Topping

  • 1

    Place berries onto cream. With fork combine the rest of the ingredients. (Sometimes I double it) Sprinkle on top.

    Set tart on rimmed baking sheet.

    Bake for 40 minutes. Let cool.
