Crock Pot Stuffing
ingredients
- 1 C butter
- 2 C yellow onions -- chopped
- 1 C celery -- chopped
- 1/4 C parsley -- chopped
- 12 C seasoned bread cubes -- (about 2 bags)
- 2 tsp poultry seasoning
- 2 eggs -- well beaten
- 2 tsp dried sage
- 2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 3 1/2 C chicken broth
directions
Melt butter over low heat
Add onions and celery and saute for 3-5 minutes
Place bread cubes in a bowl
Pour onion/celery/butter mixture over cubes, add seasonings and then toss to moisten cubes
Add enough chicken broth to moisten and toss with a fork
Add eggs and mix well
Spoon into slow cooker and cook for 4 hours.
