Russian Cream
ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup medium cream
- 1 envelope gelatin
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 pint sour cream
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- Raspberries (or whatever is in season)

Heat sugar and cream to warmer than lukewarm, stirring.

Dissolve gelatin in cold water.

When cream is warm enough, but not too hot, stir in dissolved gelatin.

Remove from heat.

Add sour cream and vanilla.

Stir with whisk.

Refrigerate 3-4 hours.
