ingredients

  • 2/3 Stick margarine
  • 1 Cup chopped celery
  • 1 Cup chopped onions
  • 1 Cup chopped green peppers
  • 1/3 lb sliced mushrooms
  • 1 Pkg frozen peas
  • 1 Can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 Jar of pimentos, medium
  • 1 Can water chestnuts, sliced
  • Pinch of Thyme
  • Salt and Pepper

directions

In margarine lightly saute celery, onions, peppers and mushrooms. Cook green peas less time than suggested on package and drain. Combine all ingredients. Season with Thyme, salt and pepper and put in greased casserole. Bake 300° for 25 - 30 minutes.

This can be made ahead of time and refrigerated or frozen.
