Hazelnut Choolate Chip Cheesecake
This was my recipes, but now it’s one of Beth’s specialties.
ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
- 3/4 c. finely chopped hazelnuts
- 1/3 c. semisweet chocolate morsels
- 1/4. c. butter, melted
- 2 T. sugar
- 3 (8oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 3 T. Frangelico
- 1. c. mini chocolate chips
- 1/4 c.chocolate chips, melted

Combine first five ingredients in a bowl. Stir well. Firmly press on the bottom and up the sides of a buttered 9" springform pan. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Set aside.

Beat cream cheese until light and fluffy. Gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs, one at a time. Stir in liqueur and 1 c. chocolate chips. Pour batter into prepared crust. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat and bake at 250° for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Let cool to room temperature. Chill at least 8 hours.

Spread melted chocolate over the top of the cheesecake. Optional-sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts. Chill another hour. Carefully remove from pan.
