Raisin Nut Bread
ingredients
- 2 C raisins
- 2 C water
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 1 C nuts -- chopped
- 1 1/2 C sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 3 C flour
directions
Boil raisins, water, soda together till foamy. Cool.
Mix rest with raisin mixture. Fill pans 2/3 full. Bake 325 1 hour.
