A quick and easy dinner!

ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground turkey, cooked 1 -15oz. can pinto beans, drained
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion 1- 8oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 -16oz. can stewed tomatoes, undrained 2/3 cup elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1/4 c. water
  • 1 T. chili powder 1/2 t. garlic salt
  • 1/4 c. low fat cheddar cheese

directions

In a large skillet cook the meat, onion and pepper. Drain fat. Stir in beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce, uncooked macaroni, water, chili powder and garlic salt. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer 20 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat. Sprinkle cheese on top. Cover and let stand 2 minutes.
