ingredients
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. capers, drained
- Shaved Parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp. dried basil, crushed
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- Hot cooked pasta or rice
- 1/4 cup snipped fresh Italian (flat-leaf) parsley
- 3 28-oz. cans diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup pitted kalamata olives, halved
- 1/4 cup pitted kalamata olives, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. anchovy paste
- 1/2 of a 6-oz. can (1/3 cup) tomato paste
- 1 lb. fresh or frozen cooked shrimp, thawed, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
