ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 16 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 lasagna noodles
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 - 8 ounce package cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup sliced green onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

    1. Cook meat and onion until meat is browned and onion is tender. Stir in tomato sauce, sugar, salt garlic salt, and pepper. Remove from heat. 2. Meanwhile cook noodles according to package instructions.

    3. Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, green onion, green pepper and cream cheese.

    4. Spread half the noodles in the bottom of a 11 x 7 baking pan; top with a little of the meat sauce. Cover with cheese mixture. Add remaining noodles & meat sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes

notes

You can substitute prepared spaghetti sauce for meat mixture if you have it available
