Grandpa's Overnight Crock-Pot Beans

ingredients
- 4 cups dried Navy beans
- 2 tsp dried mustard
- 4 T molasses
- 2 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 pound bacon or ham
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 8 cups water

1. Combine ingredients, starting with six cups of water.

2. Add additional; two cups of water as you can.

All eight cups of water must be added before evening is done.

3. Cook on high for two hours and then turn to low and cook until morning.

Don’t precook or soak the beans ahead of time.
- 6
Can be put on about 9 p.m. in the evening.
