No Fail Fudge

ingredients

  • 4 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 packages peanut butter chips for peanut butter fudge or 2 packages semi--sweet chocolate chips for chocolate fudge
  • 1/2 pound butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder (omit for peanut butter fudge)
  • 1 can Milnot milk
  • nuts as desired

    1. Butter 9x13” pan.

    2. Bring sugar and milk to boil over low heat in medium saucepan, stirring constantly.

    3. Boil for 8 minutes, stirring constantly.

  • 4

    4. Soften chips and butter in microwave; meanwhile, remove boiling mixture from heat. Add chips and butter to mixture.

    5. Add cocoa powder and vanilla and mix well.

  • 6

    6. Pour immediately into buttered 9x13 pan.

    7. Let cool before cutting.
