Aunt Catherine's Artichokes and Mushrooms
ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 12 ounce packages of fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 15 ounce cans artichoke hearts, drained
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 cup bread crumbs

Melt 1/4 cup butter and sauté mushrooms and onions until tender.

Arrange mushrooms, onions and artichoke hearts in 1 1/2 quart baking dish . Sprinkle with salt and lemon juice.

Melt remaining butter. Brown crumbs, stirring constantly. Sprinkle on top of vegetables.

Bake 25 minutes in 350 over. If made ahead and refrigerated, bake for 40 minutes.
