McCorkle Sausage Cheese Biscuits (Jason's Mom's Recipe)
These are wonderfully amazing and Jason scarfs them down every time there’s a special occasion at his parents’ house. I like them, too.
ingredients
- 1/2 pound sausage
- 1/2 pound sharp cheese
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preheat the oven to 400°.

Grate cheese in a large mixing bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and roll out 1/3 to 1/2 inch thick.

You can cut the dough into small circles about the size of a quarter or you can use the dough as regular biscuits and drop by teaspoon onto an ungreased baking sheet.

Lightly brush each top with milk and bake until lightly brown.
