These are a few of my favorite types of marinated olives. These will take about one week to get a good, strong flavor. Under the guise of “taste-testing,” I find myself unable to keep my fingers out of them!
- 1 jar - Queen olives, Kalamata olives, or a mixture of both (yummy variation is feta-stuffed olives!)
- Various seasonings - Italian Seasoning and Red Pepper Flakes, for example
- Olive oil
- Air-tight containers
Serving suggestions: Consider marinating cubes of feta cheese with the olives. Alternatively, serve the olives with crumbled feta and sliced roasted red peppers for a beautiful presentation and added flavor.
