CHERRY PINEAPPLE SURPRISE
ingredients
- 1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
- 1 box yellow cake mix, without the pudding mix
- 1 bag (7 oz.) sweetened flaked coconut
- 1 C. chopped macadamia nuts
- 1 C. melted butter
directions
Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish. In the prepared baking dish, layer the pie filling over the crushed pineapple. Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the pie filling, smoothing evenly. Pour the melted butter over the top, covering evenly. Tope with the coconut and nuts. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until brown on top and bubbly.
