Pumpkin Cream Cheese Squares

- 8 oz. cream cheese softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 can solid-packed pumpkin
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2. Lightly spray 9x13 cake pan.

3. For filling, whisk cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1 egg until blended.

4. For batter, combine pumpkin, sugar, egg and oil in a 2 quart bowl, mix well. Stir in flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and ginger.

5. Pour into prepared cake pan, drizzle cream cheese mixture over batter; cut through batter with a knife several times for a marbled effect.

6. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool and cut into squares
