Welsh Rarebit (aka Welsh Rabbit)
Mom-Mom’s recipe
ingredients
- 1 1/2 t butter
- 1 1/2 t flour
- 1 1/2 C milk
- 1 C grated cheese
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 t dry mustard
directions
Melt butter in saucepan, add flour and milk. Stir over low heat until thickened. Add cheese, stir until melted. Add seasonings. Serve hot over toast or crackers.
