Garlic Shrimp and Angel Hair Pasta
Freshly caught shrimp from the bay with a hint of garlic bedded by Angel Hair Pasta
ingredients
- 1/2 cup Crisco® Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small bay leaf
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes, or to taste
- 1 pound uncooked large shrimp, peeled, deveined
- 4 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 8 ounces angel hair pasta, freshly cooked
- 3 tablespoons minced flat leaf parsley
- Grated Parmesan Cheese

1.HEAT oil in medium skillet over medium high heat. Add garlic, bay leaf and crushed red pepper flakes; cook and stir 1 minute.

2.ADD shrimp and green onion; sprinkle with salt. Cook and stir until just cooked through, about 3 minutes. Remove shrimp with a slotted spoon; set aside.

3.TOSS hot cooked pasta with garlic oil mixture and minced parsley; divide pasta between 4 dinner plates. Top with reserved shrimp. Serve immediately with grated Parmesan cheese.
