Grandma Raymond’s Sugar CookiesConnie Raymond
Melt in your mouth. The whole family looks forward to these each Christmas.

- 6 hr
- 2 1/4 Cups of Flour
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 Cup Real Butter
- 1 Cup White Sugar
- 2 Eggs unbeaten
Cream the Butter, Sugar and Eggs.
Add Sifted Dry Ingredients
Chill for at least 4 hours.
Roll out very thin on a well floured board.
bake 6-8 minutes in a 400 degree oven
Mix several cups of Powdered Sugar with a couple of Table Spoons of Milk (enough to make a frosting consistency). Mix in food color. Frost cookies
The first year that Rick and I were married we had no Christmas decorations. We decorated the tree with Christmas cookies. Funny thing is that our decorations got eaten... at least for the fist day or two.
