Tagliatelli Marinara

ingredients

  • 1.00 lbs tagliatelli (or linguini/spaghetti) noodles
  • 4.00 ts olive oil
  • 1.00 tb chopped garlic
  • 0.50 cu chopped onions
  • 2.00 cu canned Italian tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 0.25 cu chopped celery
  • 2.00 tb tomato paste
  • 0.25 lbs cooked and peeled shrimps
  • 1.00 ca tuna
  • 2.00 tb white or red wine
  • 2.00 ts chopped parsley.

directions

Cook pasta according to package directions. Set aside. In a sauce pan, saute chopped onions and garlic in olive oil until onion is translucent. Add tomato paste and celery and continue cooking for about 1 minute. Add tuna and shrimps, cook for about 2 minutes. Add wine and chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper. Add cooked pasta noodles, and serve with parmesan cheese on the side.
