CORNBREAD DRESSING
ingredients
- 3 1/2 CUPS CORNBREAD CRUMBS
- 3 1/2 CUPS WHITE BREAD CRUMBS
- 1/4 CUP OF BUTTER
- 3 TABLESPOONS MINCED ONIONS
- 1 CUP CHOPPED CELERY
- 2 TEASPOONS SALT
- 1/2 TEASPOON PEPPER
- 1/2 TEASPOON SAVORY SEASONING
- 2 TEASPOONS SAGE
- 1 EGG BEATEN SLIGHTLY
- 1/2 CUP MILK
- 2 CUPS HOT CHICKEN BROTH

PREHEAT OVEN TO 400°

CRUMBLE THE BREAD INTO A LARGE BOWL.

MELT THE BUTTER AND LIGHTLY SAUTE THE ONIONS AND CELERY.

ADD TO THE CRUMB MIXTURE. ADD THE OTHER INGREDIENTS AND MIX WELL.

IF THE DRESSING SEEM TOO DRY, ADD MORE BROTH. BAKE IN SHALLOW PAN FOR ABOUT 15-25 MINUTES
