My sister Paula introduced us to this delicious shrimp dish. It came from Le Chene restaurant in Aqua Dulce Yum!

ingredients

  • 10-12 Medium Shrimp
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup cream of sherry (Paul Masson)
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped very fine
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Oil and Butter

directions

Peel and devein shrimp, leaving tail. Put a spoonful of butter and oil in the pan. Flour the shrimp. When the pan is hot, add the shrimp and saute until white. Add chopped garlic, cook slightly, and then flambe with cream of sherry. Add the whipping cream and salt and pepper to taste. Reduce cream to a smooth, creamy consistency. Check taste and serve.
