Cream Corn Au Graten
Cream corn recipe from The Ritz in Newport Beach. Great!
ingredients
- 1 lb frozen kernel corn
- 12 oz whipping cream
- 1 1/2 T melted butter
- 1 1/2 T flour
- 1/2 T salt
- 2 TB sugar
- pinch white pepper
- 3 T Parmesan cheese
directions
Combine corn, salt, sugar and pepper in a pot and bring to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes. Make a roux from the butter and flour, add to corn mixture remove from heat. Transfer mixture to casserole dish. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and brown under broiler.
