First Time Chicken Noodle Soup
This was my first try ever at a home-made chicken noodle soup. It worked! I may never get it right again, but it worked!
ingredients
- 3 boxes Swanson No MSG chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 box of seashells or rotini
- 1 bag baby carrots
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- Several shakes of vegetable sea salt
- Freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 sliced celery stalk or celery flakes
directions
- 1
Heat the olive oil in the bottom of your stock pot over medium-high heat. Fry the garlic and pepper in it until brown. Add the water and broth. Bring to a boil.
- 2
Add the carrots, celery, and chicken (cooked and chunked). Season to taste and let cook until the carrots are soft, but not falling apart.
- 3
Add the pasta and cook about 9 more minutes. Eat with crackers or garlic toast.
notes
This is sort of how it worked. I can't find the original recipe that I had written down. The ingredients should be right, at least. O_O
