Macaroni & Cheese, Moonlight Style
ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 cups raw elbow macaroni
- 2 cups Velveeta cheese, grated
- 8 cups of water
- 1 1/2-2 teaspoons of salt
- Pinch of pepper (preferably white pepper)
- 1/4 cup butter
directions
In a large saucepan, add water and salt. Bring to a boil. Add macaroni. Cook until tender, do not over cook. Drain and rinse macaroni and put back in same pan. Add 1 1/2-2 cups milk, cheese, and butter (more cheese if you prefer). Stir. Simmer at low heat for 5-10 minutes. Serve.
