Macaroni & Cheese, Moonlight Style

Makes 8 servings

ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 cups raw elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups Velveeta cheese, grated
  • 8 cups of water
  • 1 1/2-2 teaspoons of salt
  • Pinch of pepper (preferably white pepper)
  • 1/4 cup butter

directions

In a large saucepan, add water and salt. Bring to a boil. Add macaroni. Cook until tender, do not over cook. Drain and rinse macaroni and put back in same pan. Add 1 1/2-2 cups milk, cheese, and butter (more cheese if you prefer). Stir. Simmer at low heat for 5-10 minutes. Serve.
