Sara's Crock Pot Chili

ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • Adobo with Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 white onion, diced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 2 tsp. minced garlic or 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 2 tsp. ground cumin or to taste
  • 1 tbsp. fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
  • 1 can (15.5 oz) Red Beans, undrained
  • 1 can (15.5 oz) Black Beans
  • 1 large can (28 oz.) fire roasted tomatoes

    1. Season meat with Adobo.

    2. In a skillet, heat oil on medium high, stir in meat and cook until browned.

    3. Add onion, pepper and garlic, and cook for 5 minutes until onions are soft.

    4. Put meat and the rest of the ingredients in the crockpot. Cook on low 4-6 hours.
