Asparagus Casserole

ingredients

  • 1 can (10 1/2 of) asparagus
  • 1 can (8 oz) small green peas
  • 2 eggs (boiled)
  • 2 to 4 TBSP grated cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/3 cup toasted almonds (optional)
  • 1 box Cheese crackers (crushed)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika

    Put drained asparagus into a buttered baking dish. Chop eggs and layer over asparagus. Sprinkle cheese and peas on top. Season with salt and pepper.

    Add milk to soup and mix well. Pour over vegetables. Top with crackers and almonds. Dot with butter and sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until crackers are browned.
