Mango Salsa
Light, fresh salsa that can be served with chips or over fish and poultry.
ingredients
- 1 cup mango, diced
- 1/2 cup pineapple, diced
- 2 tsp garlic, crushed
- 1 red pepper, diced
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 small jalapeno, finely chopped (optional)
- 3-4 mint leaves, finely chopped
- 3-4 basil leaves, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup lime juice (preferrably from fresh limes

Blend together the above ingredients in a bowl. Cover and let flavors mix for about an hour prior to serving.
notes
You can increase the heat by adding more jalapeno.
