Easy & Healthy Garlic Shrimp w/Whole Grain Pasta
Healthy whole grain pasta with yummy garlic shimp.

- 1 Cup cooked Whole Grain Wheat Pasta
- 1/2 Pound Raw Medium Shrimp with tails
- 1/2 Cup Fresh Broccoli Heads (stalks removed)
- 1/4 Cup Fresh Onion - chopped
- 1 TBL of Chopped Garlic (bottled garlic or fresh)
- 1/4 Red Hot Pepper - Chopped (with seeds if you want it spicy)
- 1 Pat of Real Butter (optional)
- 2 TBLS of Olive Oil
- 2 Squeezes of Basil Paste (In the tube) or use Fresh Chopped Basil Leaves
- 1/4 cup of low sodium chicken broth (organic is best)
- Salt and Pepper to taste (I use crushed rock salt and black peppercorns)

Heat large non-stick frying pan.

Add Olive Oil, Garlic, Butter, Chopped Hot Peppers, Chopped Onions, salt and pepper and cook on medium heat until onions are soft.

Add Fresh Broccoli and Shrimp, sauté until heated and broccoli is slightly cooked and shrimp are pink.

Add 1/4 cup of Chicken Broth, Stir gently.

Add Basil Paste or Fresh Basil Leaves (chopped).

Stir all ingredients for a few minutes, and just heated through.

Add Cooked Pasta, toss together and heat through until pasta is fully heated. (about 5 minutes)

Put on plate and sprinkle with a bit of Parmesan cheese.
notes
Use any shape pasta to make this a kid friendly dish!
