ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs (beaten)
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1/2 tsp cloves
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 lb. can pumpkin
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 box instant vanilla pudding

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Grease and flour 2 large or (5-6 mini)loaf pans. Sift dry ingredients into small bowl and set aside. Combine sugar and oil in large bowl. Add eggs and pumpkin and mix well. Add dry ingredients alternately with water. Baking time varies. Check large loaves after 50 minutes and mini loaves after 35 minutes.
