Cranberry Salad
ingredients
- 1 Package of Cranberries
- 2 Cups of Sugar
- 1 Can Crushed Pineapple
- 1 Cup Chopped Pecans
- 1 Cup Water
- 2 Small Packages Jello (Orange, Cherry, or Strawberry Flavors)
- Orange Zest
- 1 Orange
- Orange Juice

1. Sort and wash cranberries twice and drain. Crush the cranberries and one peeled orange in a food processor or blender and add to a large bowl.

2. Add 2 cups of sugar to the crushed berries and orange stir until most of the sugar is dissolved, and let stand.

3. Drain one can of crushed pineapple, reserving the liquid. Add the pineapple, nuts, and orange zest to the cranberries.

4. In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Add the two packs of Jello and stir until dissolved. Add reserved pineapple juice and enough orange juice or water to make one cup combined.

5. Stir the Jello mixture into the cranberry mixture until all the sugar is dissolved.

6. Pour the mixture into a large glass baking dish. Refrigerate the mixture several hours, or until well set. Serve Chilled
