Cola Chicken for Grandma
Even though this dish is low-calorie, it is one of my family’s favorites!
ingredients
- 4 skinless chicken breasts
- BBQ SAUCE
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup catsup
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
- 12 ounces of diet coke
directions

Put all ingredients in a large skillet. Bring to boil, then simmer with the lid on for 20 minutes.

After that, bring back to boil and let thicken up - for approximately 15 minutes.

When it cools abit, the BBQ sauce will be even thicker.

Grandma is 95 in this photo and still gorgeous. She, mom, Aunt Olive, Aunt Ruth and our late Aunt Charlotte have spent countless hours around the kitchen table drinking diet 'pop' and talking. Now the diet coke can double as a truly tasty sauce.
