This recipe was passed down though many generations. One day Madeline and I will make it together too.
ingredients
- 1/2 lb. Unsalted margarine (Fleishmans brand)
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- Vanilla Extract
- 1 TSP baking powder
- 3-4 cups flour
directions

1. Allow margarine to come to room temperature.

2. Mix butter, sugar, vanilla and baking powder.

3. Add eggs one at a time.

4. Slowly add flour, 1/2 cup at a time.

5. Roll into a ball and refrigerate until use, or freeze for up to 3 months.

5. When ready, roll dough and use for cookies or pies.

6. Bake at 350°F for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
