Chicken Pecan Quiche
ingredients
- 1 cup chopped, cooked chicken breast
- 1 cup shredded cheese(Swiss or cheddar)
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1 TBS. flour
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1 9-inch unbaked deep dish pastry shell
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup half and half
- 1/2 tsp. brown mustard
- 2 tsp. fresh thyme

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a medium bowl, stir chicken, onion, flour, herb of choice and 1/2 cup pecans. Spoon into pie crust. In another bowl, beat the eggs with half and half and mustard. Pour over chicken mixture. Top with remaining pecans.

Bake in preheated oven for 50 minutes or until done.
