Steamed Veggies
Steaming a vegetable retains its color, texture, flavor and nutrients. Steaming is also one of the easiest ways to prepare vegetables and can be done in minutes.
ingredients
- 2 medium sized carrots
- 2 bunches cauliflower
- 2 yellow squashes
- 20 stems asparagus
- 1 cup fat-free sour cream
directions

1. Place each vegetable in a zip-lock bag.

2. Seal and place all bags in microwave for 10 minutes.

3. Remove bags using a kitchen mitt.

4. Serve with a side of fat-free sour cream.
